If you're looking for a sandwich that isn't just your normal ol' sandwich, maybe something that will make you a little more fancy and take in a few more calories, try out Hannah's Bretzel. This shop's two locations are in the Loop, and its sandwiches are seriously my favorite, but I just can't justify the cost and calories on a regular basis. However, when I finally get my hands on one, it is so worth it. And another thing, all the food is based around fresh and organic ingredients. So feel good about it!
All the sandwiches come with a side, Tamari roasted almonds, roasted soy nuts, roasted vegetables or my choice, kettle chips. In recent years, my sandwich splurge was the NY Sirloin containing beef with Gruyère, tomatoes, spring mix lettuce, caramelized onions, and horseradish aioli. But on this occasion the Thanksgiving sandwich sounded way too good to pass up: turkey, brie, lettuce, and cranberry chutney on a baguette.Hannah's Bretzel
