I fell in love with this winter melon candy last summer when Husband and I discovered it in an Asian grocery store in our neighborhood. The attraction was that the (alleged) US food label showed it to have very low calories. I later discovered that it wasn't necessarily the case. It's not terrible, but certainly no where near the happiness factor I had before.
It tastes kind of like dried pineapple - at least it has the texture and sugariness of dried pineapple but does taste a little more melon-like. My only problem now is that it takes some scouring to find it since items seem to change places or disappear quite often. I'm frequently disappointed on my Asian grocery store visits and only leave with a big, cost effective hunk of tofu.
Anyone know an easier way to find this stuff (maybe online)?

Hi there,
I'm afraid I don't have much to share. As I mentioned in the post, I found it in an Asian grocery store and liked it. Sometimes it is sold there, other times it isn't. I think it's just dehydrated melon and sugar.
