Stride Mega Mystery: I am officially a child again

There's a dirty rumor out that that chewing gum helps you avoid snacking.  It's true.  I've found that it does help.  But once you stop, then the snacking commences.  My solution to this is always having gum on hand and going through it like Violet Beauregarde.  I think I've tried about every make and model of sugar-free gum in existence, which is why I stopped in my tracks upon seeing the Stride Mega Mystery package in the candy aisle of Walgreens.  I mindlessly grabbed it and read about the objective of guessing the gum's flavor while waiting in line for the woman in front of me to count out 67 cents, mostly in pennies.  I enjoyed trying to figure out the gum's flavor and figured that this must be some sort of adverse reaction to turning 30 this year; my attempt to revert back to childhood.  Whoa, that's pretty deep for gum.

Have you tried this?  What flavor do YOU think it is?

fruit stripes!!

I knew right away that it tastes just like Fruit Stripes Gum. Except instead of the flavor disappearing after about 2 minutes and crumbling in my mouth, like the original fruit stripes, it actually lasts like a regular piece of gum! And it doesn't have some weird "temporary tattoo" used as it's wrapper. (well, I guess I haven't tried Stride's out to see if it's a tattoo yet. haha)But it's like a dream come true! One pack of fruit stripes would generally last me about 1 hour, and now I can thouroughly enjoy it! haha It's like a time warp in my mouth.

Gummy Worms! I've said it since my first piece and I've gone through about 6 packs. I still say gummy worms! Great piece of my childhood come back to me.
